December Trunk Shows

Anna of Sketch Studio is a local keeper and doctumenter of fairies, panic turtles and other magical beasties.  Anna uses safe, [mostly] ethical hunting methods to capture and magically contain rare and useful fairies. Forgetful? Brown thumb? Bad case of the Pox? There is a fairy for whatever ails you!

Warning: Fairies sold individually in enchanted stasis-jars. Do not handle.  Do not let fairy escape. May result in stolen objects, knotted hair, and "spider" bites. Be good to your fairy.

I am a mixed medium artist and instructor residing in Fairport NY.

I have been incredibly blessed to be surrounded by a community of supportive, mentoring, like- minded individuals and family who continually bolster my creative ambitions and drive. It has allowed me to dive into many creative mediums and ideas. I work with Acrylics, Oils, Mixed Mediums, Found Objects, Polymer Clay, and Collage. I create wall art, found object /collage pieces, upcycled home decor, Polymer Clay Jewelry , as well as 3-D work. There is a level of uniqueness and whimsy that reveals itself in many of my pieces, it all lives in me but needs to meet and greet the outside world.

Hi, my name is Tim Mack.

After 65 years, I can at last call myself an artist. I love putting pen to paper and unleashing the whimsical and surreal ideas that have been confined to my subconscious onto a fresh piece of paper.  I try to show my passion for my art through these drawings. My drawings are in ink and pencil, they are quirky and eclectic. Im sure they will bring a smile to you face, and any room of your home.

thank you so much for checking out my art.

Art is oxygen. Susan Carmen-Duffy believes that the opportunity that a collection of mixed media art supplies and a blank canvas brings, is magical.  The wonder of color, layers, and whimsy mixed in to create dynamic artwork that celebrates life. Susan creates from her center, spiritually. She layers paint, hand made collage papers, colored pencil, inks and more to create the depth and vibrancy you witness in her work. Art is her oxygen.

The excitement a woman shows when she purchases a piece of my jewelry is what gives me the inspiration to continue as a jewelry artist.  It’s what gives me the drive to formulate new ideas and create new designs.  I feel so fortunate to have a career that I enjoy getting up to every morning.

A difference in perspective can change everything. My art comes from a different perspective, it is the physical manifestation of letting my mind wander with a brush in hand. Born from doodling, I trained myself to expound on the eccentricities of my imagination and over time they took shape as pieces of art. Everyone has bizarre and strange thoughts, though most of us dismiss them with a chuckle or a head shake. I paint them.
When I start a piece I feed off of the excitement of the vision. Abrupt left turns are commonplace and a piece rarely turns out as originally imagined. I really enjoy those bends and turns because it makes my work as much a surprise to me as anyone. I know I am done with a piece when it stops talking to me. Through use of acrylics, watercolor and tattoo ink I've made my imagination come alive on canvas and skin. That is what i love most about my work.
